I think you have misunderstood the scriptures, the bible says pray fro the peace for Jerusalem; they shall prosper who love them, yes Israel or the Jewish nations have blessed the whole world because Abraham was a Jew and the Lord Jesus was a Jew. Christ brought salvation to all mankind.

If you can't see that you need to study scriptures.

Your pastor is wrong because the bible says God shows no partiality and He's no respector of person.God did choose the nation of Israel to make His name known throughout the earth, they are still the apple of God's eye. But God loves the gentiles too, and before the foundation of the world He had plan to save all mankind.
