English: Deuteronomy 20:19

"When you shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy the trees of it by wielding an ax against them; for you may eat of them, and you shall not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of you?"

 

In Spanish (En Español): Deuteronomio 20:19

" Cuando pusieres cerco á alguna ciudad, peleando contra ella muchos días para tomarla, no destruyas su arboleda metiendo en ella hacha, porque de ella comerás; y no la talarás, que no es hombre el árbol del campo para venir contra ti en el cerco. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Deuteronômio 20:19

"Quando sitiarem uma cidade por um longo período, lutando contra ela para conquistá-la, não destruam as árvores dessa cidade a golpes de machado, pois vocês poderão comer as suas frutas. Não as derrubem. Por acaso as árvores são gente, para que vocês as sitiem?"
