Genesis 42 Verse 38 - The Holy Bible : English

Here is what the Bible says on Genesis 42, Verse 38:

English: Genesis 42:38

"He said, "My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he only is left. If harm befall him by the way in which you go, then you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol.""

 

In Spanish (En Español): Génesis 42:38

" Y él dijo: No descenderá mi hijo con vosotros; que su hermano es muerto, y él solo ha quedado: y si le aconteciere algún desastre en el camino por donde vais, haréis descender mis canas con dolor á la sepultura. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Gênese 42:38

"Mas o pai respondeu: "Meu filho não descerá com vocês; seu irmão está morto, e ele é o único que resta. Se qualquer mal lhe acontecer na viagem que estão por fazer, vocês farão estes meus cabelos brancos descerem à sepultura com tristeza"."
