2 Kings 6 Verse 32 - The Holy Bible : English

Here is what the Bible says on 2 Kings 6, Verse 32:

English: 2 Kings 6:32

"But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him; and [the king] sent a man from before him: but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See you how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? behold, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold the door fast against him: isn`t the sound of his master`s feet behind him?"

" Estaba á la sazón Eliseo sentado en su casa, y con él estaban sentados los ancianos: y el rey envió á él un hombre. Mas antes que el mensajero viniese á él, dijo él á los ancianos: ¿No habéis visto como este hijo del homicida me envía á quitar la cabeza? Mirad pues, y cuando viniere el mensajero, cerrad la puerta, é impedidle la entrada: ¿no viene tras él el ruido de los pies de su amo? "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): 2 reis 6:32

"Ora, Eliseu estava sentado em sua casa, reunido com as autoridades de Israel. O rei havia mandado um mensageiro à sua frente, mas, antes que ele chegasse, Eliseu disse às autoridades: "Aquele assassino mandou alguém para cortar-me a cabeça? Quando o mensageiro chegar, fechem a porta e mantenham-na trancada. Vocês não estão ouvindo os passos do seu senhor que vem atrás dele? ""
