" Y aconteció, que oyendo todo Israel que Jeroboam había vuelto, enviaron y llamáronle á la congregación, é hiciéronle rey sobre todo Israel, sin quedar tribu alguna que siguiese la casa de David, sino sólo la tribu de Judá. "

"Quando todos os israelitas souberam que Jeroboão tinha voltado, mandaram chamá-lo para a reunião da comunidade e o fizeram rei sobre todo o Israel. Somente a tribo de Judá permaneceu leal à dinastia de Davi."

"It happened, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was returned, that they sent and called him to the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none who followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only."
