Here is what the Bible says on Exodus 37, Verse 9:

English: Exodus 37:9

"The cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat."

" Y los querubines extendían sus alas por encima, cubriendo con sus alas la cubierta: y sus rostros el uno enfrente del otro, hacia la cubierta los rostros de los querubines. "
