Genesis 50 Verse 11 - The Holy Bible : English

Here is what the Bible says on Genesis 50, Verse 11:

English: Genesis 50:11

"When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, "This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians." Therefore, the name of it was called Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan."

 

In Spanish (En Español): Génesis 50:11

" Y viendo los moradores de la tierra, los Cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: Llanto grande es este de los Egipcios: por eso fué llamado su nombre Abelmizraim, que está á la otra parte del Jordán. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Gênese 50:11

"Quando os cananeus que lá habitavam viram aquele pranto na eira de Atade, disseram: "Os egípcios estão celebrando uma cerimônia de luto solene". Por essa razão, aquele lugar, próximo ao Jordão, foi chamado Abel Mizraim."
