Genesis 47 Verse 26 - The Holy Bible : English

Here is what the Bible says on Genesis 47, Verse 26:

English: Genesis 47:26

"Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth. Only the land of the priests alone didn`t become Pharaoh`s."

 

In Spanish (En Español): Génesis 47:26

" Entonces José lo puso por fuero hasta hoy sobre la tierra de Egipto, señalando para Faraón el quinto; excepto sólo la tierra de los sacerdotes, que no fué de Faraón. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Gênese 47:26

"Assim, quanto à terra, José estabeleceu o seguinte decreto no Egito, que permanece até hoje: Um quinto da produção pertence ao faraó. Somente as terras dos sacerdotes não se tornaram propriedade do faraó."
