Judges 12 Verse 6 - The Holy Bible : English

Here is what the Bible says on Judges 12, Verse 6:

English: Judges 12:6

"then said they to him, Say now Shibboleth; and he said Sibboleth; for he couldn`t manage to pronounce it right: then they laid hold on him, and killed him at the fords of the Jordan. There fell at that time of Ephraim forty-two thousand."

 

In Spanish (En Español): Jueces 12:6

" Entonces le decían: Ahora pues, di, Shiboleth. Y él decía, Siboleth; porque no podía pronunciar de aquella suerte. Entonces le echaban mano, y le degollaban junto á los vados del Jordán. Y murieron entonces de los de Ephraim cuarenta y dos mil. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Juízes 12:6

"diziam "Então diga: ‘Chibolete’ ". Se ele dissesse: "Sibolete", sem conseguir pronunciar corretamente a palavra, prendiam-no e matavam-no no lugar de passagem do Jordão. Quarenta e dois mil efraimitas foram mortos naquela ocasião."
