Here is what the Bible says on Nehemiah 13, Verse 2:

English: Nehemiah 13:2

"because they didn`t meet the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, to curse them: however our God turned the curse into a blessing."

 

In Spanish (En Español): Nehemias 13:2

" Por cuanto no salieron á recibir á los hijos de Israel con pan y agua, antes alquilaron á Balaam contra ellos, para que los maldijera: mas nuestro Dios volvió la maldición en bendición. "

 

In Portuguese (Em Português): Neemias 13:2

"pois eles, em vez de dar água e comida aos israelitas, tinham contratado Balaão para invocar uma maldição sobre eles. O nosso Deus, porém, transformou a maldição em bênção."
