English: 2 Chronicles 32:17

"He wrote also letters, to rail on The LORD, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall the God of Hezekiah not deliver his people out of my hand."

" Además de todo esto escribió letras en que blasfemaba á Jehová el Dios de Israel, y hablaba contra él, diciendo: Como los dioses de las gentes de los países no pudieron librar su pueblo de mis manos, tampoco el Dios de Ezechîas librará al suyo de mis manos. "

"Senaqueribe também escreveu cartas insultando o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, e o desafiando: "Assim como os deuses dos povos das outras terras não livraram o povo deles das minhas mãos, também o deus de Ezequias não livrará o seu povo das minhas mãos"."
